EDITORIAL LEADERSHIP

As Editor in Chief of the Avenue, I was completely responsible for all editorial aspects of the 40-year-old brand, from choosing who should be on our monthly covers, to overseeing all content, both digital and print. In 2013, I launched Avenue on the Beach, an expanded edition of Avenue published during June, July and August - following the summer migration of Manhattanites to Long Island’s East End. With an energetic staff, I created a magazine that was very profitable, attractive, interesting, funny, and most of all, relevant to the lives of our readers, Manhattan’s elites. After 15 years in publishing I knew that being the Editor in Chief meant having the chance to evolve its editorial. I took Avenue in the direction I believe it merits: a publication thoughtfully covering leaders in the community whose achievements were an inspiration to others.
